    WE NEED VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU! We are looking for Middletown residents to join the Middletown Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company. There are many opportunities for you to volunteer: fire/EMS, grant writing, buildings and grounds, equipment maintenance, fundraising and much more! Requirements: Be at least 16 years of age Be fingerprinted and pass a criminal background check Firefighter and/or EMS training and equipment is provided, if desired No previous experience is needed

    Company Kicks Off 75th Anniversary

    COMPANY KICKS OFF 75TH ANNIVERSARY This April, the Company will celebrate its 75th anniversary and will host an Open House Celebration on Saturday, April 8.  At the Company’s Annual Banquet on February 4, to kick off the year-long celebration, we unveiled our banner that will be hung on the front of the station until next April to celebrate.  We hope that you will join us on Saturday, April 8, 2017, to help us celebrate our Diamond Anniversary and to honor our past, present and future.  For more details, click here.

    Shiley Named Fire Chief Emeritus After 53 Years as Volunteer Chief

    SHILEY NAMED FIRE CHIEF EMERITUS AFTER 53 YEARS AS VOLUNTEER CHIEF At our monthly meeting on December 1, 2016, the members of the Middletown Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, Inc., voted unanimously to grant the status of Fire Chief Emeritus to Henry Shiley.  Shiley decided to ‘retire’ after 53 years as chief of the Company at the end of the year.
